About Us

About the Founder: 

The thought of starting my brand Raadwika took shape during my second pregnancy. The pain of leaving my child behind to go to work constantly weighed on my mind. I wanted to create something that would allow me to be financially independent while also being present for my child. 

After completing my college education, I began my corporate journey as an HR professional and later moved to Dubai after marriage. In 2020, when I had my first child, I realized how short the maternity break was - Just 1.5 months, which could be extended to 2.5 months by combining it with annual leave. My first child was born during the COVID-19 pandemic, and I made the conscious decision to quit my job to care for my newborn. It was a bittersweet experience - Joyful motherhood but accompanied by the guilt for being financially dependent. 

During my second pregnancy, I decided to take a bold step. I wanted to spend more time with my children while pursuing something meaningful. That's when I gathered the courage to leave my corporate career behind and start a small business from my apartment - building a saree brand rooted in quality and authenticity. 

Why Sarees? 

Raadwika was born out of my deep love for sarees - a passion that began in childhood. Like many others, I spent my school vacations at my grandmother's home, where I would drape her rich silk sarees with pride. I loved visiting relatives and dressing up for festivals in sarees. Over time, this love only grew stronger.

As years passed, I began curating unique and exclusive sarees for my own wardrobe. Friends and family often complimented my choices, and their appreciation became the spark that inspired me to turn my passion into a brand.

Today, Raadwika stands as a reflection of my journey - a blend of tradition, passion, and purpose. It's not just a brand; it's a story of courage, love and the timeless elegance of saree.
